We decided to take a fairly last minute trip to Kalaloch for a long weekend. Originally it was just supposed to be Friday to Monday, but since Seattle was forecast to get an ice storm Friday, we went a day early. Photography is my hobby and this was my chance to visit Ruby Beach quite a few times since its only 10 minutes north of Kalaloch. Ruby Beach is part of the Olympic National Park and not all that accessible, so there tends to be less people. Its still popular, but the great thing about this part of the Washington Coast is that you have to intend to go here, its not on the way to anything. This weekend marked King Tides and lots of rain, but I still managed to capture some images I really like. I would love to be a full time landscape photographer/vlogger, but I'll settle for a few trips throughout the year. For some great YouTube landscape photographers, I suggest @fototripper and @NickPage Gear used in this video Sony A7IV Sigma 24-70 Sony 100-400 G Master Sony 14mm G Master Kase filters FLM tripod GoPro Hero11 DJI mic Shimoda Explore V2 30L
