This was all performed on an internal GSM network and all info sent to Wireshark is from that same network. Any transmissions OTA need to be contained in a faraday cage to avoid interfering with existing networks. Using just the Mobile, Cell_Log, and other OsmcomBB tools are typically passive in nature, however, creating your own GSM network is not. I highly suggest going out and looking for more info on OsmocomBB, because this video just touches the surface on a few apps. It's a project that's been around for awhile and so there's many videos on YouTube and info online elsewhere about the software. For this video I used the c118 Motorola phone and the lastest DragonOS Focal.
