DragonOS Focal OsmocomBB GUI + Mobile/Cell_Log/Ccch_Scan Usage (C118 Motorola, BladeRFxA9, YateBTS)

This video covers a few things included in DragonOS Focal not previously mentioned, to include a user contributed GUI for OsmocomBB that starts up and runs the Mobile, Cell_Log, and Ccch_Scan apps after it flashes a compatible phone. This was all performed on an internal GSM network and all info sent to Wireshark is from that same network. Any transmissions OTA need to be contained in a faraday cage to avoid interfering with existing networks. Using just the Mobile, Cell_Log, and other OsmcomBB tools are typically passive in nature, however, creating your own GSM network is not. I highly suggest going out and looking for more info on OsmocomBB, because this video just touches the surface on a few apps. It's a project that's been around for awhile and so there's many videos on YouTube and info online elsewhere about the software. For this video I used the c118 Motorola phone and the lastest DragonOS Focal. Everything needed software wise is included as shown in the video. https://sourceforge.net/projects/dragonos-focal/files/ Enjoy! Follow @cemaxecuter on Twitter for more DragonOS and SDR info.
