Zip Tie Break - MythBusters Homage

After we filmed the handcuff episode of MythBusters (great job, Jonathan, in being the champion with that activity!) I was hanging out at the hotel with the cast. Tamara, Tracy, Allen, and Jonathan got some more hands-on time with locks, picks, and... restraints. That video is here... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uv4Kb40O0UA They all learned to break free from a variety of challenging positions! Allen and Jonathan, in particular, however, got very bold and attempted to break out of extra-heavy-duty 175-lb-test zip ties (only one step below police riot cuffs, at that point) It was... not 100% successful. But, as they saw that night (and as we can see here) it can be done. The trick is just to resign yourself to the fact that your wrists are not going to be happy. Accept the pain, and freedom will be your gain. Best of luck to all remaining candidates! And three cheers from all of us who are on Team Tamara!
