It is in every way the best looking rifle that I have ever seen. The M16A2 however as a whole had many odd upgrades over the M16A1 that made didn't make sense. Ultimately the M16A2 ended up being an excellent combat rifle, but the US Military procurement process can leave you scratching your head at times.
