Visit my store at https://weldmongerstore.com for TIG cup Kits, TIG Fingers, Gloves, Tungsten, Filler metal, and other quality welding tools. New products being added weekly. I found a few pieces of laser cut 1/4" thick 304L stainless in one of my scrap buckets so I am using it for a lap joint video. Stainless steel requires less amperage than carbon steels so even for 1/4" thickness, I only used 95-105 amps. In fact, I was plugged in to a 115volt circuit for this video using a primeweld 325 See plenty of other articles and videos on tig welding stainless steel here https://www.weldingtipsandtricks.com/how-to-tig-weld-stainless-steel.html Follow me on social media to see what I’m up to: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/weldmonger/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/weldingtipsandtricks Join the discussion with thousands of welders at the Welding Tips & Tricks forum http://forum.weldingtipsandtricks.com
