Improvised Primitive Backpacks with Bandana and T-Shirt

This is a video I made to help out the extreme athletes competing in the Fuego y Agua hunter-gatherer survival race coming up in some very severe terrain in Central TX in about a month. (http://fuegoyagua.org) These racers are running either a 50K or 100K survival/obstacle race which includes - in addition to the punishing obstacle race itself, also survival tasks such as making a friction fire, creating a water container, making and accurately shooting a survival bow, throwing stick, cordage, plant identification and other tasks. Racers must obtain all their water during the race from natural sources, and are responsible for their own water purification. They are allowed to carry a water container, a knife, some form of water purification and some paracord. They will also be allowed a headlamp for safety reasons. The race starts at 4AM and for the 100K racers will probably last about 30 hours. They are not allowed a backpack or camelback, etc. As part of their clothing, they are permitted (among other things) a shirt and bandana. This video explains a couple of ways to make some type of container to carry their gear in rather than having to carry it in their hands. There are tree-climbing, wall-climbing, rock-carrying, swimming and other extreme obstacles, along with throwing stick and primitive bow accuracy, so carrying their gear in their hands is not a practical option.
