A simple tape measure yagi for 2 metres (144 MHz). With a gain of approx 7dBd it is the equivalent of multiplying your transmit output power by 5 compared to a half wave dipole. I test it receiving 2m FM, a 2m CW beacon and signals from the AO91 satellite. Nothing original about my construction. For more information see WB2HOL's website at http://theleggios.net/wb2hol/projects/rdf/tape_bm.htm PS: If you liked this video please consider supporting Amateur Radio VK3YE by: Subscribing on YouTube, Checking my books page at https://books.vk3ye.com, Shopping on Amazon via: https://amzn.to/3iiDQXv, or, Shopping on eBay via: https://ebay.us/i9DuWP (then if you buy something I'll get a small commission at no cost to you)
