We have a specific focus on being welcoming to new shooters, people from un-free regions (especially overseas) who have flown in for the conferences, and under-represented minorities who are often left out of the conversation when gun culture is on the table. If you're ever in town for DEF CON -- the world's largest hacker convention -- and/or your company has sent you to Black Hat, feel free to get in touch with us and attend. We charge a nominal fee for registration and lane time, but we're not out to make a profit. Our goal is to be as turn-key as possible for you... so we supply amenities like eyes, ears, water, safety equipment, medical gear, service and cleaning tools, shade from the sun, and all our staff are volunteer. We publish a transparency report in our Slack channel after each event to show how funds were spent and we're always looking for ways to make the Shoot even more affordable and accessible... we want gun culture to always be a big tent and to welcome anyone who has an interest in safe and respectful enjoyment of firearms.
