We need a KNOWN-GOOD Subaru to get some Cam-Crank and Ignition oscilloscope waveforms to compare to the broken Subaru. Luckily my friend was visiting for the weekend and stopped by in his 2009 Subaru Forester. The waveforms and engine timing look identical...this DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!! I send the "GOOD" and "BAD" data to two brilliant fellow mobile diagnostic technicians: Keith DeFazio and John Thornton. I ask them to look at the waveforms and see if they see anything abnormal that would cause this WEIRD Ignition Coil Behavior.
