<description>Welcome to this educational demo on capturing the IMSI from an LTE UE! In previous work, I've obtained information from a real cellphone (my own), but in this video, I'm using a software-defined radio to simulate the UE. I demonstrate how to use srsRAN 4G together with LTESniffer to capture key LTE signals, including the IMSI during the network attach process. What’s Covered: A brief look at LTE basics and key terms like PRB., An overview of the hardware setup using:, SignalSDR Pro to simulate the UE., Ettus B205 mini as the eNodeB., Ettus X310 with dual daughterboards for simultaneous uplink and downlink capture., A live demonstration of LTESniffer decoding the LTE signals. Disclaimer: This demo is for educational purposes only and was performed in a controlled lab environment using my own equipment. Unauthorized interception of live cellular communications is illegal.
