<description>** DISCOUNT SQUID POLE OFFER - AUSTRALIA ONLY ** Go to https://haverford.com.au/collections/telescopic-squid-poles and enter VK3YE as the discount code for 10% off A quick-erect HF vertical antenna for portable use and a sequel to the 3 minute antenna described on March 5, 2012. The only difference is that I'm trying velcro tape. It's faster than using wire to hold the mast to a fence. But is it strong enough or will the pole keel over? Find out by watching. You might have to traipse around town to find velcro tape but it appears to be more readily available online. The tape used here was a 2m roll of 25mm wide costing $9.50.
