This video shows how to setup Boatbod's OP25 for use with the RTLSDR and P25 Phase 1. This is using what I've included in DragonOS Focal R9. If you'd like to install Boatbod's OP25 on something else with GNU Radio 3.8 and python3, you'll have to use the DEV branch (for now) and make sure to apply the GR 3.8 patch before running the installer scripts. Hardware: RTLSDR Topics covered: Find the NAC, Setup the .tsv files, Start OP25 w/ RTLSDR and Pulse audio, Pull up GNUPlot, Tools: https://sourceforge.net/projects/dragonos-focal/files/ https://github.com/boatbod/op25/tree/dev https://www.hagensieker.com/wordpress/2018/07/17/op25-for-dummies/ https://www.radioreference.com/ Commands I used to get the NAC and run OP25 within the correct directoryNAC ./rx.py --args 'rtl' -N 'LNA:47' -S 2500000 -x 2 -f 857.3125e6 -o 17e3 -q 1 Adjust as needed for the log output and location of the .tsv file ./rx.py --args "rtl=0" --gains 'lna:47' -S 960000 -v 1 -q 1 -2 -U -T trunk.tsv -O pulse -X 2> /home/dragon/Desktop/stderr-stream0.2
