The chicken house has a dirt floor, and we've had problems with predators tunneling under and killing chickens in winter. We are going to stop that by putting in a stone base and concrete floor. The cattle barn floor is lower than the ground outside, so it becomes muddy in the winter. I discuss a bunch of different options for filling in the floor to bring it above the surrounding grade, then show filling in the floor with the option I chose.
