Subscribe to the Learn Your Land email newsletter here: http://learnyourland.com/ Turkey tail (Trametes versicolor) is a medicinal mushroom that typically grows on logs, stumps, sticks, and snags. This species is not difficult to locate, though several fungi visually resemble turkey tail — including the false turkey tail (Stereum ostrea) and violet toothed polypore (Trichaptum biforme). Both look-alikes are non-toxic. Follow Adam Haritan online here: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/learnyourland/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/learnyourland/
