I'm hoping this video can be a place where folks can share small nurseries that follow permaculture practices and/or offer unique and interesting plants. Ideally contributions are for farms practicing small scale and ethical production. I would hope folks would check out all the small nurseries below and return to this video to read other peoples suggestions... Small Scale Amazing Nurseries: http://www.twisted-tree.net/ - Our brother nursery. Incredible plants and a deep wealth of knowledge! https://www.perfectcircle.farm/ - Top tier fruit and nut explorer combined with genius nursery work. This is a wonderful resource for cold hardy and long lived perennial offerings. https://www.mandala.farm/ - Small and thoughtful nursery scale. Unique plants grown out on small scale, these folks are down towards Staten Island context and really great! https://www.blacksrunforestfarm.org/nursery - Virginia based folks doing seriously important work in human community and plant community alike. Incredibly thoughtful and right minded people helping some amazing plants grow! https://www.etsy.com/shop/SeedsOfResistance - Our friend Andy has just started this Etsy shop to offer unique and very fresh seed from super hardy perennial plants. He's helped Edible Acres a bunch this season and we're excited to see his shop take off. He'll be adding more, so check back often! https://www.sacredcirclehomestead.org/plants - Newer nursery up in Vermont. We've enjoyed seeing their human scale operation evolve. Larger nurseries: https://onegreenworld.com/ - Unique plants and wide selection. https://www.rollingrivernursery.com/ - Incredible selection of plants. Their operating group 'Planting Justice' does some really radical and awesome work, too. Well worth supporting! https://oikostreecrops.com/ - We've gotten many trees from them over the years. Nice wide selection and zone 6/5 appropriate So many more, but let's give space for YOU folks to share the nurseries you've been excited to work with...
