On a number of separate of occasions, airline staff have refused to confirm for us that the TSA has cleared our firearms.  Without knowing for certain that the guns have cleared, we have gone to our gate only to later discover that locks have been cut.  Why the TSA does this without calling the passenger first is another outrageous question to which there is no satisfying answer.</description>
