<description>In this video I’m working on getting the garden back up to scratch after a busy period, and starting the process of building new terraced beds. We had a lot of issues with a creeping weed. reluctantly we had to use a weed killer and get rid off it. We used one that is considered safe and at a low concentration. We then left it for a few weeks to degrade and kill the weeds. Then we covered it in cardboard and then new compost on top. So we will be growing in the new compost and letting the weed killed degrade further without it getting in to the food. In the end it took 20 tons of compost and 5 days work. But this should last us a few years and produce more food then we can eat. I hope you enjoy the video Dont forget to check out our Facebook and TikTok page for extra content.
