        <title>DragonOS LTS Tetra-kit quick install (rtlsdr)</title>

<description>*recent changes in project requires rapidjson instead of what I show being installed with apt-get in the video. So essentially use apt-get to install rapidjson instead. Slightly longer than my goal of five minutes, but I wanted to quickly address some issues people are having with a new tetra-kit project on GitHub. https://gitlab.com/larryth/tetra-kit Since DragonOS LTS uses the packaged version of GNU Radio 3.7.11 it suffers a couple bugs in some of the stock blocks, such as QTGUI entry. https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/discuss-gnuradio/2018-07/msg00049.html By adding one package to DragonOS LTS, editing the .xml file, and changing what's in the stock tetra-kit .grc file it seemed as though everything ran fine. The only issue I could see is that after making the change to the QTGUI entry .xml file it's preventing me from entering four digits after the decimal. It's a fairly quick process building the decoder, recorder, and codec with at least DragonOS LTS because most of the required packages are already installed. Since I'm not around Tetra transmitters, I'm unable to show any of the windows populating with data nor can I generate any of the output files needed to convert to wav files. Still, I suspect it'll work just fine if anyone follows the steps in this video unless of course the code on Github changes drastically. Hope this helps someone until I get around to including it in the next build of DragonOS LTS.</description>
