We were so proud of ourselves and the process really did speed up. About a year later I saw the same technique in a trade magazine submitted by someone else on the east coast. It turns out that when we have the same set of constraints, many of us will come up with the same idea 😉. With 1 measurement and 2 angle cuts I end up with 6 pieces cut to length, 12 angle cuts total.
