Add sugar and mix slowly while adding salt and then flour, one cup at a time, until mixture is the consistency of very thick peanut butter. Turn dough out into a plastic bowl with a tight-fitting lid and allow to rise for about 60-90 minutes. Stir down and refrigerate overnight. Melt a cube of butter.
