This LOADED 2020 Lincoln Navigator has had an annoying intermittent GHOST crop up since it had 30k miles on the odometer. Now a few years later at 56k miles and MANY TRIPS to several Lincoln Dealerships later, the owner is DESPERATE for a permanent solution. Customer complaint: a few times a week, the Liftgate will partially OPEN ON ITS OWN, the BATTERY gets DRAINED, and the truck is IMMOBILIZED. Sometimes a "battery disconnect" gets it going again, sometimes the battery is just too depleted. This Lincoln is Equipped with such USELESS FEATURES as "My Phone as Key" with 13 BLUETOOTH ANTENNAS and of course a Telematics Control Unit so you can start your truck and warm up your seats while you're on the other side of the GLOBE... Since the problem is SO INTERMITTENT, I decide the best place to start is to just disable the "Remote Function Actuator" and the "Telematics Control Unit". The issue seems to get better for a month, but then the GHOST COMES BACK!!! Unfortunately in this case the owner decided to trade in her POSSESSED LINCOLN, so we'll never know the final resolution.
