        <description>We do an experiment to preserve tomato seeds by dehydrating some tomato slices, refrigerating them over the winter, then planting the slices in February.  It worked fairly well but we learned one important thing we will be doing next time to improve the outcome.  We now have about 40 seedlings in the greenhouse waiting for warmer May weather to be transplanted outside.
