<description>The results of an hour of portable operating on 20 metres (14.060 MHz). 5 watts to a vertical dipole was used. Worked were OK1KT, DJ8LN, 9A202A, DF1AE, MI0VKO, G4SSH and DK9EM. DK9EM was running QRP to a vertical. The location was a south-facing cliff on Port Phillip in the suburb of Beaumaris. The first 20km or more of the path to Europe (long path) would have been over water. Noise was pleasingly low despite suburbia within 200m.
