In this video I show some of our favorite ways to use the Strong Tie SDWS structural screw. I prefer the 5" length and we use it for temp bracing, acting as a clamp, pulling material tight etc. While they install slower than a pneumatic nailer, they come out faster and are much easier on the body to use. A drill will install them faster, but an impact allows us more control on the trigger. Thanks for watching.
