<description>Trying out a new super-regenerative VHF receiver inspired by a similar set built by Alan VK2ZAY and demonstrated on his YouTube channel (Advent Project 18). The set is suprisingly sensitive, simple and draws just 1.3 mA - less than 1% of what many DAB receivers draw. It's simpler and in many areas, receives more stations than a similar receiver for the AM band. Schematic diagram at the end of video. The transistors used are an MPF102 FET and BC548 NPN (for the audio).
