Will an AirSpy YouLoop work with an RTL-SDR v3 on HF in direct sampling mode? It shouldn't...

A viewer asked if the the Airspy YouLoop and the inexpensive RTL-SDR v3 would work together. Technically, the YouLoop requires a High Dynamic Range receiver for best performance. And although the RTL-SDR v3 is not an HF radio, the lower frequencies can be accessed on the device by enabling direct sampling mode in SDR Sharp. It certainly is a low cost combination - but will it receive anything? For my initial review of the YouLoop see https://youtu.be/Qzj_IX6gh1c, and if you are interested in the YouLoop's VLF & LF performance, check out https://youtu.be/aPkUI185w-c. An RTL-SDR v3 can be purchased from Amazon in the US : https://amzn.to/2NIGGGZ
