<description>Short video showing how it's possible to capture DJI DroneID w/ a b205mini SDR and DragonOS Focal. This video content would not be possible without the following open source project, https://github.com/proto17/dji_droneid https://projects.osmocom.org/projects/sdr/wiki/Fosphor (also installed in DragonOS, but requires OpenCL/Nvidia driver configuration) Understand that this is not the typical WiFi based DJI DroneID, but rather a more "RF" based DroneID. This video was recorded before I had a better understanding of what the flow graph was doing. When bursts are detected, they're actually recorded automatically behind the scenes in /tmp - however, you need to make a folder in /tmp called bursts before running the flow graph. Matlab and Octave compatible scripts are then used to extract and decode the DJI DroneID information. This may be covered in a future video. This is completely passive and the SDR is only recording what is broadcast over the air. The information the DJI DroneID information provides will likely soon be like what most drones transmit at some point. https://www.faa.gov/uas/getting_started/remote_id/ Enjoy!
