This is an outdoor event that is meant to educate the general public on Homesteading, Sustainable Living, Preparedness, Bushcraft, hunting, trapping, Archery, and Survival Skills. Scott Hunt from Practical Preppers will be our Key Note speaker. There will be vendors, speakers, workshops, seminars, and lots of food prepared the old way. Come and learn the old ways, and the necessary skills to survive, if life as we know it changes dramatically. Admission is $8.00 at the gate, weekend pass is $12.00, children 11yrs and under free. There is camping available on site. There are a few camp sites with power and water hookup first come first serve. cost is $45.00 for the weekend. Sites with no hookup is $20.00 for the weekend. The intimate setting on the Historic Bowie farm will allow vendors/exhibitors to interact with potential customers in a way that an indoor Expo will not allow. The outdoor setting will allow for generous booth space, and the concept of a "Gathering" will allow exhibitors to forge lasting relationships with folks that will become life long customers. We are not "show promoters", we are a couple dedicated to educating the public. We have been running retreats and work shops on our own property and exhibiting and presenting at various shows throughout the Southeast for 9 years. The part of the country we live in is ready for a "Gathering" of like minded people, and we have a capable staff ready to make it happen. We are willing to trade booth space for a demonstration or seminar that you can provide as long as it is a good fit for the Gathering and our attendees.
