Project 150 episode 6 Sheathing the Main Floor

I enjoy sheathing the floor because its just mindless rhythm. In the past I really dreaded sheathing the floor because we didn't have a forklift to lift the material. It was also slow and tedious to glue joists prior to laying the sheathing. Back in early 2017 we started to use Advantech Subfloor Adhesive. As you'll see in the video, this is ridiculously fast to use and very strong. The adhesive comes out of a foam gun as foam but quickly reduces to polyurethane gel, a very strong glue. We use 2 1/2" x .131" ring shank nails to fasten the floor. Since we get so much rain here, I'll come back and screw the floor down right before finishes. So that's months down the road when the house is fully dried out. This is just a step to further eliminate the chance for squeaks. Since we've been building in this community for 20 years, we find screwing the floor down later saves us call backs. As always, I'm not showing the best way to do something, just the way that works well for us. Oh if you use a drone for commercial work, you need to be part107 certified. Commercial work includes social media like YouTube if you plan to make an income off of that. I watched a video about this last May and then purchased the Part 107 Course https://sso.teachable.com/secure/245841/checkout/1320802/bundle-remote-pilot-plus-maneuvers?coupon_code=FRAMERS100&affcode=245841_0eauthdo I studied and learned for 1 month and then took my test. I scored a 95%, which is a testament to how good Greg and the crew over there teach.
