        <description>Ideally, I’d like to start all of our seeds outdoors instead of in the grow room. It would save energy and reduce our lighting and heating costs, and we wouldn’t have to harden off plants in the spring. This year I hope to take a step in that direction by starting all of our cold hardy crops outside. Today I plant lettuce, spinach, onions, collard greens, and kale.
