Instead, we square cut the joints because they don't open over time. Flanged windows are common here and it can be a hassle to keep the trim nice and flat. Pocket screws, biscuits, dominos etc are all time consuming methods that work well but are pointless in my opinion. I present to you the fastest way of joining square cut miters that are strong, keep the trim perfectly flat and inexpensive.
