This video shows how to setup QRadioLink on DragonOS Focal w/ the Airspy R2 at a remote location to receive and send radio over IP using an included VOIP server. On the local end QRadioLink is again used to connect to the remote VOIP server. The application receives the audio, encodes, and retransmits the audio using a PlutoSDR. The retransmission is then verified by use of a handheld Baofeng radio. Couple things to note, more effort could've been put into fine tuning the received and retransmitted audio quality. I should also note that I had, on occasion, found it necessary to hit the PTT button on and off a couple times to get the retransmission in sync with operating upon receiving audio over the VOIP server. It could've just been something I was not doing right. I keep transmission power low and contained within my own bubble, however, a license is almost certainly needed when amplifying the transmission and really for probably just transmitting in general to be safe. I encourage anyone watching to go read more about QRadioLink and it's capabilities at the following site, http://qradiolink.org Twitter: @cemaxecuter7783 Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/cemaxecuter
