<description>Welcome back to Part 2 of this video series, where I continue building an LTE network using DragonOS FocalX on the WarDragon. In this video I'll continue with the steps needed to connect a subscriber to the LTE network, set up LTESniffer, and capture some network information. I demonstrate how to configure the Open5GS webgui and add the IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) and MSISDN (Mobile Subscriber Integrated Services Digital Network Number) to the OSMOHLR (Home Location Register). In this case I pulled the details from a Sysmocom Sim I have inside a PinePhone. Next, I fire up the eNodeB (ENB) responsible for creating the LTE 4G network, using a B205Mini Software-Defined Radio (SDR). I then switch to another PC to show the setup of LTESniffer, using an Ettus X310, and reveal how it captures the downlink and uplink of the newly created LTE network. When the PinePhone is powered on, it connects to the network, and LTESniffer captures its IMSI, demonstrating the network's functionality. In the next installment, Part 3, I'll take this experimentation further by connecting two phones and enabling SMS communication between them. Additionally, I'll use LTESniffer to monitor and capture Silent SMS messages, further exploring the potential of an LTE network for security research. It's important to note that this is a controlled lab environment setup, and I strictly follow the law and ethical guidelines. This video series is intended for educational and security research purposes, and I do not endorse any illegal activities. Always exercise caution, adhere to laws, and use this knowledge responsibly.
