We're trialling a very simple way to facilitate propagating softwood (mid-summer, green) cuttings of various hard to root plants. We're using a low cost, $20 air bubbler, $5 in air stones, and an old plastic tup we had to stimulate rooting of 100s of high value cuttings at a time. In this video I show how well it has worked on a few plants and what we do with the cuttings once they've started to root. We certainly had a few cuttings rot and die, but overall, for the price and effort, this has been an incredibly rewarding experiment and highly recommended as something to explore for folks who want an easy to setup way to multiple hard to root plants!
