http://www.edibleacres.org I talk about an experiment that seems to be going really well so far in which I'm using the latent heat still coming off our maturing compost pile to help provide bottom heat for high value seedling plants in containers. The containers are also inoculated with wine cap mushrooms so the heat of the compost can trigger a huge growth in their spawn run and the spawn can reach down into the finishing compost to inoculate that while it's at it! A nice bi-directional flow of nutrient, temperature, life, moisture and little worms/bugs/etc. All moving up and down through this relationship... So far, so good! Edible Acres is a full service permaculture nursery located in the Finger Lakes area of NY state. We grow all layers of perennial food forest systems and provide super hardy, edible, useful, medicinal, easy to propagate, perennial plants for sale locally or for shipping around the country... http://www.edibleacres.org/purchase - Your order supports the research and learning we share here on youtube. We also offer consultation and support in our region or remotely. http://www.edibleacres.org/services Happy growing!
