How to skim the cream off your milk! Fresh cream says decadence like few other things in life... one of the blessings of producing your own food (or buying the equivalent from a local farmer) is that you get cream with your milk, filet mignon with your ground beef, asparagus with your spinach. Take full advantage of these little luxuries... You use cream for coffee, ice cream, whipped cream and, most importantly in my book, BUTTER! But before you can create these amazing treats, you have to get the cream skimmed off the milk. In this video, Carolyn will show you how to skim your raw cows milk to separate off your cream. If you want cream from your goats milk you may have to use a cream separator, as most goats milk is naturally homogenized. Be sure to check out what else you can do with your raw milk here: https://homesteadingfamily.com/what-to-do-with-raw-milk/
