        <title>A Dumb Door Code Violation</title>

<description>This is a very quick story from an AirBNB in which my team was staying during a job last year. The host, wanting a quick and easy entry code for tenants, installed a TurboLock YL-99-SS doorknob. But they installed it by swapping out the door's existing deadbolt. That resulted in a door which required two hands performing two independent actions simultaneously... something that became maddeningly complex for even able-bodied folk (especially if were carrying a laptop bag or something in our hands) and is a pretty clear-cut code violation. Because I'm a nice guy and I had my "Solve Most Problems" bag with me... I opted to fix the door for the host. I may have neglected to inform them that I was performing this kind and valuable service. 😉</description>
