That resulted in a door which required two hands performing two independent actions simultaneously... something that became maddeningly complex for even able-bodied folk (especially if were carrying a laptop bag or something in our hands) and is a pretty clear-cut code violation. Because I'm a nice guy and I had my "Solve Most Problems" bag with me... I opted to fix the door for the host.
