<description>The latest DragonOS x86_64 ISO has been released and is now based on Lubuntu 22.04. Slight name change from Focal to FocalX. Please note that most videos with the "Focal" name in them should work with the latest release. I wanted to be able to keep the Focal project page on SourceForge, but also have a way to tell the difference between versions. https://sourceforge.net/projects/dragonos-focal/ With that out of the way, I wanted to start doing some videos showing how to use various applications contained within DragonOS. In this video I cover the usage of Signal Server GUI (w/o python virtual environment), Signal Server, and a few tools to create and view the radio frequency propagation pattern of a TV transmitter in Romania. The idea for the plot was taken from a walkthrough on the internet showing how to use Splat!, which is what Signal Server is based on. For more information on Signal Server and the Signal Server GUI please see the following links, https://github.com/Cloud-RF/Signal-Server https://github.com/thetacom/signalserver_gui There's a lot that Signal Server is capable of doing and the Signal Server GUI makes it easy for any user to pass settings across to the command line tool (Signal Server) which is used behind the scenes to create the data provided during the single plot generation or station to station plots. If you ever wanted to see if you have line of sight between two locations factoring in at least the elevation data or if you want to see how the power of a transmitter propagates out over distance, this video is for you. The elevation data used in this video was obtained here, http://viewfinderpanoramas.org/Coverage%20map%20viewfinderpanoramas_org3.htm The included Photon Map application in DragonOS is found here, https://github.com/ckoval7/photonmap Enjoy!
