InRange is supported by viewers like you and every $1 helps! https://patreon.com/inrangetv In this practical shooting 101 video, we explain how red dot and holographic sights work, and what the differences are between them - both in technology but in practical use. It is our hope that this will educate and help you make the right decision for your practical needs. ADDENDUM: Since I don't have one, I neglected to mention this - both RDS and Holographic sights may not be for you if you have an astigmatism. Depending on the severity of your particular astigmatism, these reticles may just look like a "star" or could turn into a total blob of uselessness. So, before you decide, make sure you look through at least one before you decide to make the purchase.
