<description>Now for stair building part 2. The stairs will be carpeted, a standard in our area. I use a combination of Advantech Subfloor Adhesive, 2x8 risers, Strong-Tie SDWS structural screws, ring shank nails and Advantech to make a "bomber" stair assembly. 2x8 risers are stiff and provide a good surface to glue and fasten. I have cut 1 extra stringer so that stringers support where someone places their feet. Deflection is often the cause of creaks and squeaks. Advantech subfloor holds up very well to the weather and is very stiff and stable. Advantech subfloor adhesive is tenacious. I use Paslode rink shank galvanized nails to fasten the treads. I hope this helps, as always take what's worth taking and improve on this process. Our goal is to share, then crowd source better ways of doing things. The tools I use and recommend https://acmetools.pxf.io/AwesomeFramers Here's an article on framing curved stairs https://www.jlconline.com/how-to/framing/framing-a-curved-staircase_o Please remember that I'm not showing the best way to do anything, but just the method that works well for us. Thanks for watching! Oh and another takeaway, if you use a drone for commercial work, you need to be part107 certified. Commercial work includes social media like YouTube if you plan to make an income off of that. I watched a video about this last May and then purchased the Part 107 Course https://sso.teachable.com/secure/245841/checkout/1320802/bundle-remote-pilot-plus-maneuvers?coupon_code=FRAMERS100&amp;affcode=245841_0eauthdo I studied and learned for 1 month and then took my test. I scored a 95%, which is a testament to how good Greg and the crew over there teach. That link will save you $100 off the course and support this channel.
