        <description>160 metre amateur radio from Seaford Pier.  Once again 10 watts of AM to a squid pole mounted vertical antenna was used to contact stations up to 50km distant. Seaford is further from most stations than Mordialloc Pier so signal reports were generally weaker.  Nevertheless it proved a good enough transmitting site.  It is also quieter for receiving, with less RF noise present.   Some of the comments referred to the 28 December 2009 video made from Mordialloc Pier - also available for viewing here.
