Nutmeg 1 Tsp. Baking Soda 1/2 cup sour milk (add 1 tbsp. vinegar to milk) Enough flour to make stiff dough. Usually 5-6 cups Cream together butter, eggs and sugar. Add Nutmeg. Make "sour" milk and add the baking soda. Add this to the butter mixture. Add enough flour to make stiff dough. Bake at 350 degrees (175 celsius) until slightly brown around edges. Sugar Icing: 1 cup powdered sugar 1 tsp vanilla 1 tbsp milk or enough to make thin mixture.
