First up, we have a bit of a battle on our hands with a clevis seized on a rod. But with some strategic drilling, boring, and careful removal we free the clevis while saving its threads. The culprit? Roll pins AND Loctite! Next, we use the lathe to turn some tough induction hardened material into two brand new cylinder rods. After getting all the components cleaned, we install new seal kits in both the piston and glands. Then, the hydraulic press comes into play for the meticulous reassembly of both cylinders. Finally, a fresh coat of paint completes the rebuild and gives our steering cylinders a well-deserved makeover.
