If you have a top discharge setup this is going to be impossible unless you remove your pump first.  If you have a Pitless Adapter setup then just remove your cap, drop the bucket and you will have water!  This works great in bored wells, shallow wells, spring boxes etc. Sometimes it is a great thing to have one if you need to prime a pitcher pump.
