<description>We present five different ways to use the lemon powder we made in our previous video on making lemon powder. From making lemon pepper to lemon cake, having lemon powder in our food storage allows versatility and a taste of favorite things. Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce 1/2 cup butter cut in pieces 4 minced garlic cloves 1 tablespoon lemon powder (or 1.5 tablespoons fresh lemon juice) 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley Salt and pepper to taste Melt butter and add garlic over low heat. When the smell of garlic rises from the butter, add the chives, parsley and lemon powder. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir together over heat until combined. Use as a baste for baked chicken or fish. Lemon Bundt Cake by Paige 2-1/4 cups all purpose flour 2-1/4 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 4 eggs 2 cups sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 tbsp dried lemon zest 2 tbsp lemon powder 1-1/4 cup milk 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp butter cut in pieces Lemon Glaze 1-1/2 cups powdered sugar 2 tbsp lemon powder Lemon Sugar Topping 1 tbsp dried lemon zest 1 tbsp sugar Preheat oven to 350°F. Generously grease a bundt cake pan and lightly flour. In a small bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt and set aside. In mixer bowl, beat eggs until light yellow and slightly thickened. While running mixer on low, pour in sugar a little at a time and beat until light and fluffy. Stir in vanilla, lemon zest and lemon powder and then slowly add dry ingredients. In small saucepan heat butter in the milk until butter is melted but do NOT boil. Stir into cake mixture and beat until smooth. Pour into bundt pan and place in oven. Bake 35-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out nearly clean. Remove from oven and allow to rest in the pan for about five minutes. Be sure all edges of the cake are loosened with a butt er knife and turn out onto a rack. Cool until just slightly warm to the touch. Drizzle with glaze and sprinkle with topping. Serve.
