<description>In part 3a of Project 171, we are framing the main floor walls. Our approach to framing exterior walls, is to do as much to those walls as we can before lifting. Minimizing ladder work is more productive, safer, and easier on the body. Whether it is pre-attaching rim, building the fireplace roof, adding guard rails, etc, this goes faster working on a flat surface. As a framer, we are most productive when we don’t have to come back to finish something off. This all takes a lot of planning at first, but gets faster with time. We chose guard rails as our primary form of fall protection. Thanks for watching. Please remember, I’m not showing the best way of doing something, just what works well for us. Oh if you use a drone for commercial work, you need to be part107 certified. Commercial work includes social media like YouTube if you plan to make an income off of that. I watched a video about this last May and then purchased the Part 107 Course https://sso.teachable.com/secure/245841/checkout/1320802/bundle-remote-pilot-plus-maneuvers?coupon_code=FRAMERS100&amp;affcode=245841_0eauthdo I studied and learned for 1 month and then took my test. I scored a 95%, which is a testament to how good Greg and the crew over there teach.
