<description>Visit my store at https://weldmongerstore.com for TIG cup Kits, TIG Fingers, Gloves, Tungsten, Filler metal, and other quality welding tools. New products being added weekly. If you ever need to write a procedure for tig welding aluminum, I think you will find this video helpful. Starting with a full penetration bead on plate can be an easy way to dial in exact amperage it takes to get full penetration on thin aluminum and it is much easier to set up and get started. Once you get decent results, then set up a butt joint and the same exact settings work. In this video, i started off welding a bead on plate in horizontal position using 43 amps but reduced amperage to exactly 40 amps for a better result and still had enough amperage to get full penetration and fully consume tack welds on the actual butt joint.
