My '96 Mercury Mystique 2.0L is still leaking a bit of engine oil from the oil pan area onto the hot exhaust downpipe and creating an unpleasant odor. Replacing the oil pan gasket during the clutch job helped a bit, (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RDr9qYqrI4&t=480s) but there seems to be another source: the front crankshaft seal! Let's change out this tired front crank seal.
