Tarah and I stopped by Arizona to see our friends' new baby and also to visit with Karl Kasarda and Ian McCollum of InRange.TV and ForgottenWeapons.com (all across the board, BTW, it must be said that everyone in the above list couldn't have been more accommodating and wonderful hosts. We really value and appreciate our friends!) While playing with a newborn is always a joy for me, I have to say that the dusty drive out to BLM land may have topped it, since that is where Karl found a properly fire-resistant sandy plain, took out the fuel and compressed gas, and taught us all how to be flame-spewing dragons for the day. Even my pal Dr Martin Pepper from the MythBusters got to join in the fun! This was a truly awesome experience, and one that I hope to repeat again. Not just shooting fire, but visiting everyone down in Arizona. (BTW, while the new parents couldn't join us out in the rural hotbed... how fitting is it that their names are Scorche and Char?) 😄 P.S. - If you want to own a flamethrower like this unit, they are totally legal and available for a rather reasonable price from X-Matter at https://throwflame.com/
