        <description>1843 kHz AM transmitting from Carrum beach, 32km south of Melbourne.  As it was the Australia Day public holiday more than usual stations were on air from around Melbourne and Port Phillip. The antenna is the usual squid pole vertical 9 metres tall. The counterpoise was the fence shown.
